I read through these posts which help me set out a few ideas for my documentary music.
Inchoate - Danny Goliger is a techno track that includes elements of soft techno and house, its subtle melody and electronic sounds can go well as background music. This style also reflects the technological modern aspect of daniels studio so it aligns well with their aesthetic and purpose. However, it may be subject to copyright so I'm also going to look for copyright free music to avoid this potential issue.
I found some copyright free youtube track that's half an hour long but includes a series of mini tracks that I can
choose from. After going through each one, I found two that I think will be suitable as background music for my project.

Insert track 1 : (0:00 - 1:57)
Insert track 2 : 3:40 - 6:08)
Both tracks are ambient cinematic music creating a mood of inspiration and emotion which go well with the journey on screen. They both include soft techno melodic sounds and symphonies which reflect the studio's modern and innovative approach to art.
Track 1 , I think is a better option for the initial opening as it is subtle and soft which will smoothly introduce the audience to the documentary. Track 2 is a better option as the audience is taken further inside their ‘journey/process . I think both of these tracks will be layered over any ambient sounds or conversations picked up by the camera, however ultimate decisions upon soundtrack will be made during post production to determine their effectiveness and how well they go with the visuals on screen
