Documentary Planning: Outlining the basics
Documentary planning: Outlining the basics
Mise en scene : the mise en scene will capture the studio as it is - an authentic representation of the characters and the studio. The genre observational documentary - through the ‘fly on wall effect’ and hand held camera, long lengths of shots etc.. communicate the message of contemporary art through Daniels pieces and his intentions behind them and the process to create these. The overall mood and atmosphere will be the one of creativity, innovation and a sense of journey
Representations : representations of social groups (art fanatics/lovers/artists/people in the creative/arts industry) appealing generally to audiences who like art or are in the art industry. My project may challenge audiences' views behind contemporary art or reveal interesting truths through the unconventional representations of how technology can be used to create art and anchor meaning and purpose behind it, therefore I think my project will positively represent daniels studio and contemporary art as a movement.
Costumes : I will be filming everyone as they are, casual clothing in their own styles to convey their authenticity and capture the studios aesthetic and personalities.
Props : I will be filming a production process, so the props are not up to me to decide, I will be following and filming the process behind the artworks, whatever those are we will find out together. ‘Film everything’ basically
Crew list : The Daniel canogar studio will be filmed. I will be the only one filming.
Health and safety risks - my project will not be affected by covid restrictions - my project will not be affected by Covid restrictions
Location reconnaissance : there are no access restrictions or difficulties as my mom works here so i have permission from daniel himself to go and shoot in their studio
